Mod turns Lies of P into the Bloodborne sequel fans always dreamed of

Since its reveal, Lies of P, Neowiz's latest project, has garnered attention for its aesthetics and gameplay reminiscent of Hidetaka Miyazaki's masterpiece, Bloodborne. Comparisons are inevitable, and modders have taken advantage of this to create mods that recall how great a PC port or sequel to FromSoftware's title would be.

One such modder is Isatris, who specializes in creating modifications for ELDEN RING. They developed a mod that transforms the main character of Lies of P into the protagonist of Bloodborne, along with adding weapons from the game.

Additionally, the developer added Bloodborne weapons linked to the game's classes, such as the Holy Blade of Ludwig or the Chikage. If the player opts for the strength style, they will receive the Holy Blade of Ludwig; if they choose the dexterity class, they can use the Chikage; and if they prefer the balanced style, they will receive the Chikage.

This highlights the similarities between both games, especially regarding the art direction.

If you're interested, the mod is available on the Garden of Eyes Patreon, Isatris's group. You'll need to subscribe to download and use it on the free demo of Lies of P. However, more free mods may appear when the game debuts in September.

While Bloodborne is still absent on PC and a sequel seems distant, Pinocchio's new soulslike can be an excellent alternative. Nevertheless, players are skeptical and believe that the project will be unable to meet expectations.
