Among Us was one of the first viral hits of the decade and, although its prime has passed, it has left its mark on popular culture. It is because of this that it will soon be adapted into another medium. Specifically, it will be turned into an animated television series.
According to information from Variety, CBS Studios has given the green light to start production on an animated series based on Among Us. This production will be led by Owen Dennis, the creator of the successful series Infinity Train, who will serve as the creator and executive producer of the project.
In their blog post, InnerSloth, the studio behind Among Us, confirmed the news and expressed excitement about this opportunity. They also took the opportunity to thank the community for the support they have received over time.
"We’re SO PUMPED and blown away we are getting this opportunity. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information comes out but for now just wanted to share the news!
Thank you so much for being around and supporting us. Things like this aren’t possible without all our players and I’m gonna cry just thinking about it.," InnerSloth stated in their blog post.
