In recent days, the entire Magic the Gathering community has been opening packs of their new Lord of the Rings expansion with one goal in mind: to find The One Ring, a unique card estimated to be worth over $2,000,000 USD. Well, someone lucky has already found it.
As reported by TheGamer, The One Ring was discovered in Whitby, Canada. The fortunate individual remains anonymous but is a regular customer of MAXimum Cards and Collectibles, a store where the pack containing the card was opened. Interestingly, the package containing The One Ring was not purchased from this establishment.
According to reports, the card has already been authenticated by PSA, the leading trading card grading company. Apparently, the card has a Mint 9 rating, meaning it is in excellent condition with few imperfections.
Currently, the owner of The One Ring has not sold their precious card. However, they are already working with a legal team to entertain offers.

It is expected that The One Ring will sell for over $2 million USD
We remind you that originally, The One Ring was estimated to be worth $150,000 USD after Cassius March, a linebacker for the NFL's Chicago Bears, offered that amount for the card.
With that said, the price skyrocketed exponentially with offers of $1 million USD, which quickly turned into proposals of $2 million USD. The current highest offer is from Gremio de Dragones, a store in Spain, which offered $2.18 million USD and an all-expenses-paid trip to Valencia for the card.
It remains to be seen if these offers will hold now that The One Ring has appeared. Whatever its final value may be, we are certain it will become one of the most expensive cards in history.
