Faker, the legendary player of League of Legends, recently revealed that he has been dealing with an injury. As a result, T1, the team he represents, has decided to give him a break for recovery. Sadly, this will keep the talented midlaner away from matches for a while.
According to DotEsports, Bengi, T1's coach, spoke to the press and was inevitably questioned about Faker's health. He confirmed that the midlaner is now receiving treatment to heal his wrist injury, which will keep him out of competitive action in League of Legends for at least 2 weeks.
"For now, we are thinking that Faker will take at least 2 weeks off. We will then see the progress of his recovery from there," said Bengi.

This means that Faker will miss some important matches in T1's participation in LCK Summer. As a result, his team's season could be at risk due to the injury, as they are currently in third place with teams like Dplus KIA, Hanwha Life Esports, and Kwangdong Freecs close behind.
It is worth noting that Faker's injury began in mid-June, but it was only this week when T1 decided to give him a break after the player experienced pain in his right arm. As a result, he missed the match against DRX, which T1 lost.
How do you think T1 will fare without Faker in the coming weeks? Do you believe they will finish the season on a high note? Let us know in the comments.
