StarCraft is a science fiction and military strategy game created by Blizzard and released in 1998. Its debut and success marked a new era in strategy games, and it was followed by expansions, a sequel, and even a remastered version of the original game, as well as an impressive esports scene. The idea of a third installment has been circulating in the community, as many feel that the company has not given enough attention to the IP, but it seems that their wishes might be fulfilled soon.
