The gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live will be held very soon and will have exciting announcements. Geoff Keighley, presenter and organizer of the opening event, has just confirmed that one of the most anticipated games of recent years will reappear at the show.
We are referring to Black Myth: Wukong, a Game Science title that has surprised with its impressive graphics, attractive gameplay and story inspired by Journey to the West, one of the classic works of Chinese literature.
Black Myth: Wukong will be at gamescom 2023 and would be playable
Through his social networks, Keighley confirmed that Black Myth: Wukong will be one of the titles present at gamescom 2023's Opening Night Live. So next August 22 we will see a new trailer of the action title.
Its last trailer was released earlier this year, so it's been quite a few months without news about the game. Fortunately, Game Science is now ready to show us more of the gameplay and the world of their awaited project.
On the other hand, Insider Gaming claims that Black Myth: Wukong will be playable for the general public during the German event. According to their sources, there will be dozens of test stations for players to get a first-hand look at the title's mechanics.
While this was not confirmed by Keighley, there is a chance that the report is accurate and some lucky people will be able to enjoy Black Myth: Wukong. The game is expected to debut on PC and other unconfirmed platforms in the summer of 2024.
Watch @gamescom: Opening Night Live for a world premiere new look at BLACK MYTH WUKONG on Tuesday, August 22.
