The anticipated return of Bloodborne has been the subject of numerous rumors in recent years, but the project has not been confirmed. Despite this, fans of the IP haven't lost hope, but there is some bad news as the wait could potentially be even longer or indefinite.
In recent days, new information surfaced about the supposed new Bloodborne project. The leak indicated that the title would not be a remake but a remaster coming to PlayStation 5 (with no mention of a possible PC port). Additionally, the leaker estimated that the project would be ready by 2025 to coincide with the original game's anniversary.
Will Bloodborne return with a remaster in 2025?
This news excited fans, especially considering that the information came from a reliable source, Im A Hero, with a high track record of accuracy. However, not everything is as it seems.
This is because it appears that the person who revealed this information on the Snitch server on Discord was someone impersonating Im A Hero Too, an impostor, in other words.
The real Im A Hero Too didn't stand idly by but went to Reddit and created an account (TheRealImAHeroToo) to start leaking through this platform from now on and not ResetEra or any other medium because it was "too risky," and on Reddit, they can do it anonymously, and it's "a shared account with other informants."
The bad news for Bloodborne fans is that the informant took the opportunity to deny the information that was shared in his name and clarify that he has no information about Sony, so any rumors about the company's plans related to him are not supported by him.
It's important to remember that even though the rumors surrounding Bloodborne may not have materialized, the franchise will indeed celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025, and PlayStation could be preparing a project to commemorate it.
