Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village are two survival horror games that amazed us on consoles and PC due to their excellent gameplay and incredible graphics. They are visually stunning games that we never imagined seeing on a mobile device natively. However, it has just been confirmed that they are on their way to the iPhone, along with a port of Assassin's Creed: Mirage.
At the new Apple Event, Apple introduced the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. During the presentation of their high-end model, the company dedicated some time to gaming and the power offered by its Apple A17 Pro chip. This processor features a new 6-core GPU that promises to be 20% faster than the previous generation and provides ray tracing capabilities.
So, the new chip in the iPhone 15 Pro will allow mobile games to have more advanced graphics that are closer to what consoles offer. What we never imagined is that this would also allow it to receive ports of Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake. That's not all! It will also have a version of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, the upcoming installment in Ubisoft's series.
It's important to clarify that these are ports that will run natively on the iPhone 15 Pro. In other words, they are not cloud games like the ones offered by Xbox Cloud Gaming on mobile devices. However, the iPhone 15 Pro is the only confirmed smartphone for these releases.
Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village are coming to iPhone 15 Pro before the end of the year. On the other hand, Assassin's Creed Mirage will debut at some point in the first half of 2024. We will keep an eye on it and inform you when we know more.
