Baldur’s Gate 3 has been celebrated by the community since its release. However, being a celebrated game doesn't mean it's perfect, and there are some things that fans would like to see in the RPG. Larian Studios knows this, and that's why they've introduced one of the most-requested features by fans.
Recently, Larian Studios announced that a new patch is now available for Baldur’s Gate 3. Among its new features is the ability to change your character's appearance. Thanks to this, you can now customize your character in a deep and flexible manner whenever you like.
However, having the opportunity to change your character's appearance doesn't mean you can modify everything. Some important elements such as race, body type, and story-related modifications will remain the same.
"The Magic Mirror allows you to change your appearance as you wish, as many times as you want. There are some restrictions: your appearance, voice, pronouns, and nether regions can be changed, but your race/subrace and body type cannot. Original characters, hirelings, and illithids cannot use the Magic Mirror. Cosmetic modifications resulting from your gameplay choices will persist," they explained.
The Patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 Includes Other Fixes
It's important to note that this isn't the only new addition that came with the latest patch for Baldur’s Gate 3.
According to Larian Studios, the new patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 also brought various fixes and adjustments to the combat system. Additionally, performance has been improved in specific parts of the RPG. Furthermore, the DualSense light now integrates better with the game's elements.
