GTA VI: death threats force game insider to delete his social networks

Rockstar fans are impatient for the unveiling of Grand Theft Auto VI; however, the company remains silent and it seems that it will take even more time for the presentation of its long-awaited game. In the meantime, insiders have filled social networks with alleged hints about the project.

The community is not happy with several of the insiders claiming to have information about Grand Theft Auto VI, as they know that much of the information is inaccurate or outright false. This generated a problem for the insider known as MarxxChris, who decided to close his networks after receiving several death threats from various players.

Over the past few days, MarxxChris has shared alleged hints about Grand Theft Auto VI and its unveiling. However, his revelations were not well received by part of the community that is apparently fed up with "leaks" about the game.

The insider was disappointed by the players' response after receiving death threats. After posting a final message to express his frustration, the user closed his social networks.

"I have been profoundly disturbed by the receipt of extremely alarming death threats… I am absolutely appaled by the level of criticism and hostility I have faced in response to the leaks," MarxxChris said.

The players discussed the case and their opinion was divided. Some believe that the reaction of certain people was exaggerated and that any threat is unjustified. On the other hand, there are users who think that the insider was asking for it in a certain way, as he just wanted his minute of fame with revelations that were surely false.

“Crazy how easy it is to go on twitter, make up the most bs or obvious leaks everyday and then claim you're a legit insider and then people believe you,” said a player clearly upset with the situation.
