Despite the successor to Nintendo Switch still being a mystery, some studios have already confirmed that they are developing titles for the console. There is more information on this matter, as two reputable insiders have revealed the alleged projects that Capcom and SEGA are planning for the new hardware.
Alleged Capcom and SEGA Games Leaked for Switch 2
Journalist and insider Necrolipe recently claimed that Capcom is working on the new installment of one of its most popular franchises, which will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2. We are referring to the upcoming main title of Monster Hunter.
While there are no details about the project, it is speculated that it will be released on current-generation consoles and PC. Furthermore, it would feature a port for Nintendo Switch 2, made possible by the potential of the system.
Undoubtedly, it would be a very significant release for the console, especially since Monster Hunter achieved part of its success in various regions thanks to its portable entries on Nintendo 3DS. Additionally, it would indicate that major studios are supporting the new system from the Japanese company.
On the other hand, reputable insider Zippo stated that SEGA is working on a new installment of Super Monkey Ball. The project is allegedly set to be revealed and launched next year, with Nintendo Switch 2 being one of its platforms for release.
While the sources have proven to be reliable with some of their revelations, the reality is that it's best to take the information as a mere rumor. As of now, neither Capcom nor SEGA have confirmed projects for Nintendo's future console.
