Online support for video games in the era of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 was introduced as something novel, although risky because it was known it wouldn't last forever. Time has passed quickly, and now we find ourselves at a moment when many titles are losing their online experiences and support. Such is the case for some of Ubisoft's titles, which will soon undergo this change.
Ubisoft to End Online Support for 10 Video Games
Ubisoft has announced that a new group of video games on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC will lose their online support, with their servers being disconnected on January 25, 2024. This does not mean that the titles will be removed from digital stores, but they will no longer have any type of online support, and their online game modes will not be accessible. Additionally, content that requires connecting to the servers will no longer be available, leaving only the offline experience for enjoying their campaigns in the appropriate cases.
Which Ubisoft Games Will Lose Their Online Features?
Regarding this, Ubisoft points out the reason why the following games will lose their online support: "Retiring these services for older games is not something we take lightly but is a necessity as the technology powering these services has become obsolete."

- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - MAC
