All indications are that PlayStation and Naughty Dog have an imminent announcement for PlayStation 5 users and fans of The Last of Us. According to recent reports, a project from the popular franchise would be revealed very soon for Sony's current console.

The Last of Us: Part II could be coming soon to PlayStation 5
According to a report from leaker and insider PlayStationSize, a PlayStation 5 version of The Last of Us: Part II was recently added to the PlayStation database, suggesting an announcement and, likely, an imminent release.
The source confirmed to Insider Gaming that this is a native version of the game for Sony's current console, so it would take advantage of its technology. This coincides with hints and rumors about a remaster that surfaced weeks ago.
Various insiders claim that the remaster will be announced this year and will arrive in early 2024 on PS5. It is also said that it will arrive on PC, but approximately 6 months after its debut on consoles. As for its optimizations, there is talk of graphical improvements and DualSense support.
At the time of writing, neither PlayStation nor Naughty Dog have confirmed the game's existence. However, it is believed that it could be an announcement reserved for The Game Awards 2023, an event that will take place in December.
As for the fans, there are gamers excited to relive this adventure with improvements; however, there are also disappointed people, believing that a remastering of such a recent game is not worth it.
