When will Dragon's Dogma 2 debut? Leak provides a clue
According to a report from Insider-Gaming, the Pan European Game Information Board (PEGI) of Europe listed Dragon's Dogma 2 with a scheduled release date of March 22, 2024. This appears to be a premature leak, but it's common in the video game industry when titles reach a certain level of progress and enter the review process for publication and marketing.
The listing for Dragon's Dogma 2 on PEGI was taken down shortly afterward, and the official link now leads to an error and maintenance screen. However, during its brief appearance, the Dragon's Dogma 2 listing revealed that among its features to consider are "in-game purchases." While this may raise concerns, Capcom has the trust of its fans, and if such a thing were to happen, it would likely be related to cosmetic content... although we cannot rule out other possibilities.

While this is a leak, the good news is that we won't have to wait long for confirmation or denial. Capcom has scheduled a presentation event for Dragon's Dogma 2 on November 28, where we may learn the official release date.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is being developed under the direction of Hideaki Itsuno, a Capcom legend, the savior of Devil May Cry, and the creator of this medieval and fantasy-themed role-playing and adventure game. The announcement of this sequel excited fans, and the teasers released by the development team have only heightened the anticipation.
Regarding this, the creators of Dragon's Dogma 2 mentioned that the game is internally considered a "fantasy simulator" as they will leverage current technology to strategically use the terrain and environment for both offense and defense.
On another note, Hideaki Itsuno recently revealed in an interview that one of the major influences on Dragon's Dogma 2 is GTA V, as Rockstar Games' work on open-world settings changed the perspective of Japanese developers in bringing their worlds and NPCs to life.
