Starfield divided the opinion of the community. There are those who believe that Bethesda delivered an ambitious and excellent title. On the other hand, there are fans of the studio who were not entirely satisfied and think that the RPG was left to owe.
Curiously, there is a player who invested more than 600 hours in the game and, in the end, said he didn't like it. This is the Steam user known as magnusbarbadus, whose review on Valve's platform has caught the attention of many social network users.
One gamer didn't like Starfield, but spent over 600 hours on it
According to Steam, the gamer wrote his negative review after spending 566 hours on Starfield. From his perspective, the title is "a complete disappointment". He claims that he's been a big Bethesda fan since The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but that the new RPG simply didn't live up to his expectations.
"I've played 566 hours on the Premium edition and have had to restart it for the third time already (the first time I got to level 25 and the second time to 37) as the constant accumulation of bugs has made it impossible to continue the story with quests getting stuck," the gamer stated annoyed.
He noted that he found the game to be extremely repetitive despite the 1000 planets, which do not really offer diversity. He also complained about the space travel, the constant loading screens and the slow character development. Finally, the player asks Bethesda to improve the title in future updates.
To everyone's surprise, magnusbarbadus has not abandoned the game despite his negative opinion. As of this writing, he logs 662.5 hours on Starfield. Steam reveals that he has played 92.4 hours of the RPG in the last 2 weeks.
This detail puzzled many, as everyone is of the opinion that if you don't like a title you simply don't play it again. Apparently, magnusbarbadus has found his taste for the RPG or is still looking for something that really appeals to him about the title. Quite a mystery.
