Players who tried the Alpha can share their opinions

Despite being one of the most reputable studios thanks to their work on the acclaimed Batman: Arkham trilogy, Rocksteady is facing challenging times due to the mixed reception of their latest project: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Now, they've taken an uncommon step to try and rescue the title from negative feedback.

It's no secret that the video game starring Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang has been under scrutiny since its reveal early last year. Players expressed dissatisfaction with the presence of live service game elements and other issues.

With the release just around the corner, there are still many uncertainties. Shortly after numerous negative and mixed impressions came to light, Rocksteady took a step to allow more players to share their opinions.

Fans who participated in the Alpha can give their opinions on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Recently, media and influencers had the opportunity to test the new DC Comics video game, and the first impressions were revealed this week. To the surprise of many, there are mixed opinions. Additionally, ]images showing a user interface cluttered with elements covering the screen went viral.

It's clear that these mixed and negative opinions do little to alleviate player concerns. However, it seems that the impressions of those who played the closed Alpha are much more positive. Thus, Rocksteady took an uncommon step in the hope of changing the perception.

From November 30 to December 5, 2023, some players had the chance to play a closed Alpha. Participants were required to sign a confidentiality agreement preventing them from sharing their opinions and audiovisual material. Now, the studio has lifted some of those restrictions.

In a statement, Rocksteady announced that some restrictions of the confidentiality agreement have been removed, allowing players who participated in the Alpha to share their opinions on social media. However, they are still prohibited from sharing images and videos.

As highlighted by journalist Pablo Tassi from Forbes, the impressions of players who participated in the test session are much more positive than those of larger media outlets. Users praise the combat system and the personalities of the characters.

“I really liked the closed Alpha. It was a lot of fun, and the combat was smooth and enjoyable. There are many options for your skill tree,” commented user @OfficialRyat.

“Very fun, reminded me of Sunset Overdrive, and it plays better than Gotham Knights. The story seems good in the parts we could play, but I can see some of the side activities becoming repetitive, but that happens in most games like this,” noted @Gh0stivan1.
