According to the information, Jennifer Coolidge, who recently won her second Emmy for her outstanding performance in the successful miniseries The White Lotus, will participate in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Minecraft. Details remain scarce, so her role is unknown.
Thus, the actress from American Pie, Promising Young Woman, and 2 Broke Girls will share credits with Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen.
Previously, director Jared Hess hinted that there was an upcoming casting announcement for a "funny lady." It is highly likely that Jennifer Coolidge will be the one bringing that character to life, although more details are unknown. At this moment, the main writer is not known.
