As promised, Microsoft and its studios hosted a new Xbox Developer_Direct this Thursday. After learning many details about the world and mechanics of Avowed, the stream continued immediately, and we got to see more of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Ninja Theory's latest project.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II confirms its release date
During the special event, the team behind this new narrative project presented more information about Senua's dark and epic adventure. Without delving into spoiler territory, the creatives confirmed that our protagonist will encounter new allies and enemies along her journey.
Ninja Theory emphasizes that the combat system has been revamped, making it feel different from the first game. The intention is for each encounter to tell a story, emphasizing that the protagonist is not a superheroine, so she struggles and strives in every fight to survive.
On the other hand, developers discussed the process behind the setting and ensured that special attention was given to audio to bring to life the voices Senua will hear during her journey in this dark fantasy world.
When will Senua's Saga: Hellblade II debut?
A couple of days ago, a rumor surfaced indicating that this new and ambitious game would debut in a couple of months. Fortunately, the leaked information was accurate, and during the latest Xbox Developer_Direct, it was confirmed that Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will hit stores on May 21.
It's worth noting that this narrative proposal will be available day 1 on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
