Sonic will once again be a hot topic in 2024, and we're not just talking about the franchise's new live-action movie debuting at the end of the year, but the hedgehog will also make headlines in the world of video games, as SEGA appears to be working on a new spin-off of the series.
Several months ago, seemingly official clues surfaced regarding various Sonic the Hedgehog video game projects, including DLC and even 2 unannounced titles, and a leaker has just revealed details about one of them.
Will Sonic have a game in the style of Fall Guys? When will it be available?
The information comes from MbKKssTBhz5, who, through Twitter (X), reported that SEGA is developing a Sonic spin-off with gameplay similar to Fall Guys, suggesting it could be a multiplayer battle royale where players compete against each other for victory.
The details didn't end there, as the source mentioned that the title would be for mobile devices and should be released this year.
In case you missed it: ATLUS is reportedly working on the next Shin Megami Tensei.
It's important to note that SEGA has not officially announced this project, so we encourage you to consider this information unofficial. However, it's worth mentioning that MbKKssTBhz5 is an informant who, while not known for Sonic predictions, has shared accurate information about ATLUS or SEGA in the past.
We'll keep you informed.
