[Stellar Blade is generating a lot of buzz. After confirming its release date, SHIFT UP has shared a bunch of gameplay details, and we now know its duration and if more content is planned through DLC.
As we approach the release of Stellar Blade, scheduled for next April, SHIFT UP is gearing up for marketing preparations to publicly discuss the project.
In a recent interview, for example, the leader of the South Korean studio and director of Stellar Blade, Kim Hyung Tae, revealed that last year's delay was not due to a decision made by Sony after inspecting the product's quality but was an internal decision within the studio as part of the "polishing process."
How many hours of gameplay will Stellar Blade offer?
Being a single-player title with a linear design, some might think that Stellar Blade's campaign will be short-lived, but they are mistaken. Hyung Tae revealed that the main story will offer around 25 hours of gameplay.
If you are a dedicated player planning to unlock everything in Stellar Blade, you can be sure that you will spend more time with the title, as "between 30 and 50 hours" will be needed to collect all the collectibles, according to the director's estimate (via RULIWEB).
Will Stellar Blade have DLC?
Hyung Tae mentioned that they are focusing on the main development but did not confirm or reject DLC plans, although he made it clear that there will be post-launch support through patches or updates.
On the other hand, the developer confirmed that Stellar Blade will not include microtransactions.
