According to various sources and reports, Twitch and Kick were banned in one country as they are considered a risk to the inhabitants of the region. According to information, both platforms stopped being available in Turkey recently. This as the authorities are concerned about activities related to betting and gambling taking place on them.
Turkey bans Twitch and Kick for streams with gambling

For some time now, platforms like Twitch and Kick have been under the spotlight for streams and sponsorships linked to gambling sites. This caught the attention of the Turkish National Lottery Association and some authorities in the region.
According to details, the country was concerned about the introduction of Kick and similar streaming platforms, as they felt they could introduce younger citizens to betting and gambling.
The authorities also put the magnifying glass on Twitch, as they consider the service to Amazon to be not much different. Sources revealed that the Directorate General of National Lottery Administration decided to ban both platforms as it sees them as a danger to some of its citizens.
At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the companies in charge of Twitch and Kick will be able to do anything about it in order not to lose presence in Turkey. It is also not known if the authorities will take further steps in this regard to completely block the services indefinitely.
