The trailer for GTA 6 undoubtedly heightened the excitement of gamers and the gaming industry in general. Rockstar is expected to share more information in the coming months, but the delay is undoubtedly consuming impatient fans. For all those, there is good news, as a clue has just emerged suggesting that a period song will feature in the title.
The anticipation for the release of the next trailer is high, but the uncertainty about its contents is also significant. However, information has just surfaced in the strangest way, confirming that a vintage singer is involved with the game or at least one of her songs.
GTA 6 Soundtrack to Include This Retro Song
We're talking about Anita Ward, an American singer in the disco and R&B genres who made waves in the late '70s with her single Ring My Bell, released in 1979, becoming the biggest hit of her discography, which consisted of a few albums and singles. The song continues to captivate generations.
What's making people think that the singer will collaborate in some way with Rockstar Games is her official artist page on Spotify, which displays a banner simply showing the game's logo in the web browser version. According to ComicBook, this happens only with one version of Ring My Bell within the application.
It is unclear why the image on Anita Ward's pages would be changed, but it is not ruled out that the song might appear in the game, perhaps not as part of a promotional trailer but as one of the tracks in its soundtrack.
We will keep you informed.
