After around 15 days of work, this artwork was officially unveiled last Sunday, March 24. On social media, dozens of fans can be seen visiting the mural, which includes beautiful illustrations of Goku, Vegeta, Broly, Videl, Shen Long, Bulma, Majin Buu, Krillin, and more characters from the franchise.
The painting is located on block 9 of Avenida Paseo de la República, near the National Stadium of Lima in Peru. It's worth noting that it was done on top of a mural dedicated to national heroes José Avelardo Quiñones, José Carlos Mariátegui, Francisco Bolognesi, and Miguel Grau. Regarding this, artist José Lévano explained the reason behind this decision.
"We ourselves took charge of muralizing the theme of the heroes for the Bicentennial. Some neighbors have not agreed with this change, but it is worth noting that the mural was deteriorated and criminality was returning to the area (...) People who live badly began to arrive, and we needed to renew," said José Lévano in an interview with RPP.
