Thanks to various reports, we know that the Fallout series was very successful in terms of viewership during its premiere. According to Variety, the series registered 5 million views from April 12 to 18. In that week it had 2.5 billion minutes viewed, making it one of Prime Video's most popular series. With such figure, it even surpasses important productions from other services such as Netflix and Apple TV+.

On the other hand, PlumResearch revealed interesting data about the series' performance in the United States. We know that it registered 53 million views and 47 million hours watched during its first week in that country.

To put its success in perspective, it is worth mentioning that The Boys had 28 million views and 29 million hours watched in July 2022, during the end of one of its seasons. On the other hand, Fallout was also crowned with respect to the number of unique viewers.

In the United States, it registered 9.7 million Prime profiles. Thus, it surpassed the 9.1 million of The Boys, the 7.8 million of The Rings of Power and the 6.3 million of Reacher. In addition, we know that Fallout already records 56 million episodes watched.

Globally things were not much different, as the live-action series soon positioned itself as the most watched in several markets, with up to 30% of the service's viewing share for a week. All this makes it one of the platform's biggest hits, so it's only natural to know that its Season 2 is already in planning.
