Nintendo surprised gamers moments ago by sharing a video on its social media. In it, it offers a glimpse of the first LEGO set of The Legend of Zelda, featuring the Great Deku Tree, a very prominent character in the franchise's history.
What's interesting is that this is a 2-in-1 collectible, as it features the Great Deku Tree in his version from Ocarina of Time and as we saw him in Breath of the Wild. It also includes a Zelda and Link figures, various accessories, other characters from the saga, as well as pieces to build the surroundings of the Lost Woods.
According to details, the set will consist of 2500 pieces. It will debut next September 1 and will be sold for $299.99 USD. Eiji Aonuma, producer of the saga, was enthusiastic about this new step for the franchise.
“The Deku Tree was the first element from The Legend of Zelda we wanted to represent using Lego bricks. This set allows you to build two different versions of the Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with unique features that are a great fit for the nature of the series,” the creative explained.
