LEGO Horizon Adventures will be one of the upcoming multiplatform releases from PlayStation; however, it will not be released on Xbox consoles. This detail has caught the attention of many players, who wonder why the title will even come to the Switch but not to Microsoft systems.
In recent days, Guerrilla Games justified the port for Nintendo's hybrid console without saying a word about the game's absence on Xbox. Following this, a studio creative was questioned about a possible port for Series X|S, but his response is sure to disappoint more than one player.
Guerrilla avoids talking about LEGO Horizon Adventures for Xbox
James Windeler, the game's narrative director, was questioned by Game File (via Pure Xbox) about the multiplatform release of LEGO Horizon Adventures and the lack of a port for Microsoft's consoles.
Undoubtedly, the creative's response will leave Xbox fans unsatisfied, as he avoided discussing a possible version of LEGO Horizon Adventures for Series X|S at all costs. Instead, he stated that Guerrilla's goal is to make the game look amazing on the confirmed hardware.
"At this moment, we are very focused on pushing this hardware to its limits and making this game look as incredible as possible on this hardware. And you know, we really have nothing to announce about Xbox at this time," commented Windeler.
Some believe that LEGO Horizon Adventures will simply never come to Xbox consoles. However, the creative's words have also been interpreted differently, as some think he left the door open for a possible future port.
The reality is that nothing is confirmed for now. LEGO Horizon Adventures will debut later this year for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, on a date yet to be confirmed.
