Fans of Bleach have been dreaming of a new game in the saga for a long time. Their hype is through the roof as it seems there is a possibility that their wish may finally come true and a new title in the franchise could be announced in a matter of hours.
The reason is that Tite Kubo, creator of the franchise, invited fans to stay tuned to a panel taking place today at Anime Expo 2024. Recently, a mysterious registration for a new unannounced title surfaced, leading to speculation that it will be revealed this afternoon.
Is a new Bleach game on the way?
The mangaka and his team confirmed that Bleach will be at Anime Expo 2024 and that they will share news for fans at the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2024. The studio's presentation will take place today, July 5, at 6:30 PM, Mexico City time.
Bandai Namco confirmed that their event will last 1 hour and will feature announcements and revelations of various games based on popular anime. Due to this and Kubo's message, Bleach fans believe that a new game based on the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki and company will be revealed today.
In fact, there are already hints that a new project is on the way. As we mentioned, a few weeks ago, a new title called Bleach: Rebirth of Souls was registered. Players speculate that it could be a game for consoles and PC, but there is also the possibility that it will be a mobile title. Fortunately, it seems that this question will be answered today.
Fans are eager for a new game in the saga following the success of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, the anime that brought the franchise back and positioned it once again as one of the most popular.
The Bleach manga was first published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2001 and concluded in August 2016. Kubo's series has 686 chapters compiled in 74 volumes. Meanwhile, the anime was produced by Studio Pierrot and aired from October 2004 to March 2012.
The series spans 366 episodes, including several original arcs not present in the manga. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War came to bring an end to the animated series, as the original production did not cover all the arcs.
