Now, 343i has just hired another prominent creative to build the future of the iconic franchise, which has suffered various setbacks in recent years. This is Josh Daniels, a creative who has already impressed Xbox users with his work, as he was part of Turn 10, the Forza Motorsport studio.
Turn 10 creative joins 343i to work on Halo
Through a post on his LinkedIn profile, Daniels confirmed that he recently joined the Halo studio, where he will serve as the franchise's cinematic director. So, he will work on all the upcoming projects of the saga.
The creative was part of Turn 10 for almost a decade, where he was a multimedia artist, video editor, and later specialized as a cinematic artist for Forza. Thanks to his outstanding work, he became the cinematic director for Forza Motorsport.
In his post, the developer expressed his excitement for this new stage in his career, saying he had always wanted to be part of 343i to work on Halo. He committed to giving his best to deliver great games to the franchise's fans.
He declared himself a big fan of the saga, having enjoyed the LAN party era and played Halo Infinite during the pandemic. "I am very excited to join this team and help create those moments that generations of players can remember fondly," Daniels said.
Fans are excited about this hire, as they believe the creative did an excellent job on the Forza cinematics. Some players highlighted that this aspect of the racing franchise is one of the best, so they foresee a good future for Halo.
