Xbox Game Pass has delighted its users with attractive titles and highly anticipated releases from Activision Blizzard in recent days. The good news is that, apparently, Microsoft is preparing more surprises for the service's catalog.
According to a reliable industry insider, players will soon be able to enjoy the remake of a popular title with their Xbox Game Pass subscription. We are referring to Mafia: Definitive Edition, which will arrive on the platform in a matter of days.
Mafia: Definitive Edition is on its way to Xbox Game Pass
Throughout its history, Xbox Game Pass has added games from major franchises to its catalog, and it seems it will soon offer a surprise to Mafia fans. Informant Nate The Hate claimed that Mafia: Definitive Edition will arrive on the service next month.
The source only stated that the title would be available sometime in August, so they did not reveal an exact release date for Xbox Game Pass. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake of the first game in the series, which debuted in 2002.
In the new version, Hangar 13 and 2K Games made a graphical update, with redesigned character models and environments. They also worked on a remastered soundtrack and other adjustments to bring the gaming experience to a new level.
The narrative was preserved, so the remake also allows players to learn the story of Tommy Angelo, a taxi driver who gets involved with the mafia in the fictional city of Lost Heaven during the 1930s.
At the time of writing, the companies have not confirmed the release of Mafia: Definitive Edition on Xbox Game Pass. If the report is accurate, it looks like August will be a great month, as it is also said that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be another surprise release.
