Grand Theft Auto V, the popular title from Rockstar Games, has been available on various subscription services like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus. It usually stays in the catalog for a few months and then disappears, much to the disappointment of subscribers.
It seems there will soon be another opportunity to enjoy Grand Theft Auto V at no additional cost with a subscription. Tez2, a well-known Rockstar insider, stated that the title will eventually come to PC Game Pass, a service where it has not yet been available.
Grand Theft Auto V might be coming to PC Game Pass
Through social media, the insider confirmed that Rockstar Games is preparing to release Grand Theft Auto V on PC Game Pass. The game has been available multiple times on Xbox Game Pass but has been limited to the console service.
For now, there is no estimated release date. It is also unknown if the game will return to the console service when it debuts on PC Game Pass. Tez2 indicated that the title can be launched from the Microsoft service app but will run via the Rockstar Games Launcher.
Due to this, the insider asserts that the title will not be cross-platform. While the information comes from a reliable source, it is important to note that it is just a rumor for now. Rockstar has not confirmed the game's arrival on PC Game Pass or its return to another subscription service.
As mentioned, Grand Theft Auto V has been available several times on Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, where it has been well-received by subscribers. Therefore, its debut on PC Game Pass doesn't sound far-fetched.
