Black Myth: Wukong is the game of the moment, and everyone wants to get their hands on it. Currently, the title is only available on PlayStation 5 and PC, and we know it will eventually arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft consoles where it suffered an indefinite delay.
A peculiar video is circulating on social media and forums, allegedly showing Game Science's title running on an Android smartphone. According to reports, Chinese modders managed to run the game on a mobile device with poor performance.
Whether this technical feat is possible or not, we recommend being cautious, as there are already supposed download links for this version of the game circulating online. Clearly, these are scam attempts, and you should stay away from them.
Is Black Myth: Wukong already running on mobile devices? Beware of scams
According to various reports, some Chinese modders managed to run Black Myth: Wukong on an Android device with an Adreno 750, a chip integrated into the Snapdragon 8 of the third generation. A supposed video of the project shows the action title running very poorly on the device.
The game runs at a very low frame rate, making it practically unplayable. While part of the community was impressed by what this represents technically, many players doubted its authenticity.
Regardless, some people have taken advantage of the news and the video to attempt to scam players. There are currently several posts on social media offering Black Myth: Wukong for Android.
As is evident, this is a scam attempt, so we recommend staying away from the supposed download links for the game. This way, you can avoid having your information stolen.
Keep in mind that Game Science is not working on a mobile version of the game, and the Chinese players' Android project has not been verified. That said, remember that Black Myth: Wukong is currently only playable on PS5 and PC.
