2024 is a very important year for Dragon Ball fans, as Akira Toriyama’s franchise will celebrate its 40th anniversary. Besides the premiere of Dragon Ball Daima and the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, there will also be special merchandise for the occasion.
Toei Animation and Secretlab have revealed an exciting collaboration to treat gamers. The companies will release an impressive gaming chair to mark the franchise’s 40 years. Without a doubt, all fans will fall in love with it, as it boasts a fabulous design inspired by one of Goku’s best transformations.
Here’s how awesome the Dragon Ball Z gaming chair will look
Secretlab, a company specializing in gaming chairs and accessories, partnered with Toei Animation to launch a special edition of their Titan Evo chair, called the Goku Edition. It’s a limited item that pays tribute to Akira Toriyama’s work.
The chair promises excellent ergonomics and everything needed for long gaming sessions. Its design stands out with the iconic colors of Goku's classic outfit from Dragon Ball Z. It also includes references to the saga, like some kanji and, of course, the Dragon Balls. The design is also inspired by Goku's first phase of Super Saiyan, one of his most emblematic transformations.
“The series defined the childhood of an entire generation of fans, and we’re excited to take them on a nostalgic journey back in time — now resting against pro-grade ergonomics. Fans can switch from catching up on their favorite episodes to deep diving into the manga in absolute comfort,” said Secretlab.
At the time of writing, the chair is available for pre-order in regions like the United States and some European countries. It will be sold for $624 USD, so it won’t be a cheap item. Below, you can see an image of the chair:
