After 14 years of waiting and multiple rumors, Rockstar confirmed this morning what many PC players were hoping for: Red Dead Redemption will finally come to computers. Through a statement, the company confirmed that it will be a new version of the title with multiple improvements and its DLC.
The best part is that players will have to wait very little to enjoy this port, as it will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Rockstar's store in just a few weeks. On the other hand, they have already announced the minimum and recommended requirements to run the title.
When will Red Dead Redemption debut on PC and what improvements will it have?
Players who want to relive and enjoy John Marston's adventure for the first time can already mark their calendars. Red Dead Redemption will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Rockstar's store starting on October 29.
Fans of the franchise will be able to enjoy the base game and the acclaimed DLC Undead Nightmare in a single package. For now, the price of this port developed in collaboration with Double Eleven has not been revealed.
As for improvements, the game can be enjoyed on PC with a native resolution of 4K and 144 Hz. It will also support Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9), and HDR10 monitors. Additionally, it will be fully playable with keyboard and mouse.
