Xbox services are experiencing issues once again. According to various reports, there are problems with playing backward-compatible titles and logging in from an Xbox 360, despite the fact that the Xbox support page indicates everything is functioning normally.
Through various forums, Xbox players confirmed that they are receiving messages or various error codes when trying to run certain titles through backward compatibility or when attempting to enjoy content on the older console. Fortunately, Microsoft is already working on a solution.
Xbox 360 and backward-compatible titles facing issues
According to TrueAchievements, the problems with logging into an Xbox 360 or playing backward-compatible titles began last Monday. Players are receiving a warning message or error codes 8015D086 and 8015D000.
“Sorry, there’s a problem with the credentials that you’re using to sign in,” reads the error message. Several Reddit users shared a message they received from the Xbox support team, informing them that a solution is already in the works.
That said, if you’ve experienced issues playing on your Xbox 360 or running backward-compatible titles on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, you’ll need to be patient and wait for services to be restored. It’s expected that everything will return to normal throughout the day.
For now, there are no further details on the causes of the issues with Microsoft’s old console, but more and more players are reporting problems. Fortunately, it seems this issue is not affecting other company services.
