Microsoft has treated fans to a bunch of hardware models for the current Xbox system family. In just a few days, the next ones will launch, but one store didn't care and because of this, players already have them in their hands.
After months of rumors, last June, Microsoft confirmed that it would release several models of Xbox Series X|S, among which the Xbox Series X with 1 TB SSD stood out, featuring a white color and the main distinction that it would only support digital format. Unlike the PlayStation 5 Slim, it cannot have a disc drive added.
The device in question was set to release at a price of $449.99 USD on the upcoming October 14, but the store Walmart didn’t wait until that date, allowing customers to buy it early.

Users have already been able to buy the new Xbox model days before its release
This was the case for a reddit user who, upon finding out that the system was already for sale, didn't think twice and bought it.
“I was passing by a Walmart this morning and had to buy it. I'm 100% digital, so I don't care about the disc drive,” the user commented in their reddit post, which received comments from many users praising the white color of the brand-new system, although some also expressed disappointment that this color is exclusive to the fully digital model.
Unfortunately, the user did not share which location made this possible, and it's unknown why the employees allowed the sale of the device when its release is scheduled for next Monday, October 15 in some territories, and in others, not until October 29.
In case you missed it: the white Xbox Series X won't be available in all countries.
