Yu-Gi-Oh! has had countless adaptations to video games. Konami wants to bring back some classic titles based on its popular card game, so a few months ago, they announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection. This is a collection that will bring together games that debuted between 1998 and 2004 for various Nintendo consoles.
There is good news for all fans of the franchise, as Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection finally has a release date on Nintendo Switch and PC. Additionally, Konami revealed 3 more titles that will be included in this nostalgic and comprehensive package.
When will Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection debut and what games will it include?
Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is a very special release for all fans of the card game, as it will arrive to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise, which has expanded with anime, movies, manga, and other multimedia productions.
Players will need to be a little more patient, as the collection will arrive next year. Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will debut on February 27, 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). It will have a physical release for Nintendo's console, including a fantastic gift for fans of the card game.
To keep up with tradition, Konami will give away physical cards with each copy of the title. Specifically, fans will be able to get 1 of 2 Secret Rare versions of Harpie’s Feather Duster, an iconic card from the franchise.
As for the games in the collection, Konami has so far confirmed 8 titles that debuted on Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. This morning, they revealed that Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction will be added to this release.
The games will feature a save and load option, as well as support for online play in several titles from the collection. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist will have online options from launch, while other games will receive them later. Below is the complete list of confirmed titles so far:
