Sony continues its strategy of bringing its PlayStation exclusives to PC, although most of the time these are not simultaneous releases. This time, it's the turn of one of the most successful sequels, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which now has a release date.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC next year; it will debut on Steam and Epic Games Store
Just moments ago, PlayStation announced the release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. According to official information, the sequel to Insomniac Games' successful title will arrive on PC on January 30, 2025. It was also confirmed that Nixxes Software B.V., a Netherlands-based studio specializing in bringing PlayStation Studios exclusives to new platforms with generally positive results, will be in charge of the port.
There is high anticipation for the release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC, not only for how the game will take advantage of powerful rigs to showcase its highest quality version but also on a commercial level, as it's a highly successful franchise for Sony.
According to the latest official report, Marvel's Spider-Man, the first game in the IP developed by Insomniac Games, has sold 50 million copies since its 2018 release, including its PC launch. Therefore, the debut of the sequel on a new platform is expected to have a similar impact.
