Microsoft and Xbox have decided to leave the battle for exclusives behind and bet on a multiplatform strategy. Thanks to this, some titles that were only available on Xbox and PC have recently made their way to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles.

According to various reports, the plan has worked well, so Xbox plans to release even more games on the systems of other companies. However, it has not yet been clear which titles will be chosen or if franchises like Halo and Gears of War will make this leap.

Recently, more information about Microsoft's multiplatform strategy has surfaced. According to the details, Gears of War, Fable, and other major Xbox games will come to PlayStation 5 at some point. On the other hand, there are other sources that are more reserved and believe that certain franchises could remain Xbox exclusives.

Various Xbox executives have made it clear that they are satisfied and excited about the multiplatform strategy. Thanks to this approach, more players have been able to enjoy titles like Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, Hi-Fi RUSH, Grounded, and soon, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

According to the insider The Magg, Xbox's most important future releases are already in development for PlayStation 5. According to their sources, Avowed, Blade, Perfect Dark, Fable, and Gears of War: E-Day are some of the titles that will get ports for Sony's console.

In addition, they added to the rumors about a supposed Halo game that will be multiplatform and available on PlayStation 5. In recent months, there has been talk of a remaster or remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, but Xbox has not confirmed this project.

“Now, here’s the ones you didn’t know. Avowed being worked on for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. Blade, Perfect Dark, Fable, and Gears of War: E-Day will [all] be coming [as well].,” the insider said.

In contrast, the insider eXtas1s indicated that the information they've received is different. They noted that the news about the port of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was not well received, which is why the next releases for Sony's console are “paused” or “slowed down,” but not canceled.

They also mentioned that franchises like Halo and Gears of War are "red lines" for now, meaning Xbox might decide not to bring them to PlayStation. However, all this information is unofficial, so we should consider it a rumor for now.
