Monster Hunter Wilds will arrive by 2025, but fans of the franchise will have a chance to enjoy the new title from Capcom before its release. This morning, the company confirmed that it will hold an open Beta for players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

The test will allow console and computer users to experience some aspects of the new adventure and face some of its lethal creatures. With only a few days left until the Beta takes place, here’s when it will happen, how to participate, and what content it will offer.

When and how to participate in the open Beta of Monster Hunter Wilds?

The open Beta of Monster Hunter Wilds will take place from October 28 to November 3 in several phases. The first phase is aimed at PlayStation 5 users, who will have early access to the test if they are subscribers to PlayStation Plus.

Afterward, the Beta will be available for those without the service. Shortly after, the test will be conducted on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam), where there will be no early access. Capcom clarified that for Xbox, it will not be necessary to have Game Pass Core or Ultimate to play.

What will the open Beta of Monster Hunter Wilds offer?

The open Beta will give you the opportunity to explore 3 aspects of the title: the character editor, a taste of the game’s story, and a free hunt in Doshaguma. In the first content, you can create your warrior and later transfer it to the final version of the title.

In the initial trial, you will be introduced to a tutorial covering the basic mechanics of the title. Meanwhile, in the free hunt, you will need to defeat a Chatacabra while exploring the Barlovento Plains. Both activities can be performed solo or in online matches for a group of up to 4 players. Additionally, the team can be completed with NPCs, who will act as support hunters.

Participants will receive a pendant as a reward to decorate their weapons or their Seikret mount. Moreover, they will also be rewarded with a package of items at the game's launch. Below you can watch its latest trailer:
