The company announced a new project to bring popular series to a wider audience

Dragon Ball Daima, One Piece, and other popular anime series can currently be enjoyed through various streaming services, including Crunchyroll. The Sony platform aims to bring some of its best series to a wider audience, announcing that more than 40 anime will be available on YouTube.

Google's service has established itself over the years as the preferred video platform for many. Therefore, Crunchyroll's presence on YouTube and the arrival of popular anime series are excellent news for fans of Japanese series.

Crunchyroll has several channels on YouTube to share trailers, interviews, specials, and other content related to anime. In a few weeks, some fans of Japanese animation will be able to enjoy over 40 anime series on Google's platform.

This will be possible thanks to a new paid channel that Crunchyroll will have on YouTube. If you didn't know, Google's service offers Primetime channels, where users can access content from other services through the YouTube app or website.

Crunchyroll is betting on this initiative to bring Dragon Ball Daima, One Piece, Blue Lock, Re:Zero, Shangri-La Frontier, and many other unconfirmed anime series to a larger audience. For now, the company has not confirmed what the cost of this new service will be for watching anime on YouTube.

On the other hand, we know that this initiative will have some restrictions at launch. The first anime series will arrive on YouTube at the end of 2024, but they will only be available to users in the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.

With this, Sony's service will offer another alternative for anime lovers to enjoy their favorite series from their favorite place. For now, it is unclear if Crunchyroll's Primetime channel will reach other regions in the future.
